I use water borne products in my professional furniture shop. The one issue using water borne finishes is they are extremely corrosive to the aluminum cups. We are a high end furniture shop that produces numerous pieces of high quality solid wood products. There are many times when we're spraying for a week or two straight with the same color and top coat in the guns with out cleaning. Over the years we have found that the water borne products eat right through the aluminum cups and since they are pressurized this can lead to a big mess and time consuming clean up. A year or so ago I was talking Jason an I mentioned this, it became a conversation that lead to me purchasing these Teflon coated cups for both my fuji guns and the Aero Jets. Cups work for both. Thus far I have not had no pitting or signs of the cup beginning to break down. I believe this would be my second order of these cups replacing other aluminum ones. Great small American business.
